Welcome to the Malta Visa Application Centre (VAC)
VFS has been appointed as an outsourced partner by the High Commission of Malta to facilitate visa applications to Malta. Our offices are located in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. We accept Visa applications from India, Nepal and the Maldives.
When to Apply
The visa applications are to be submitted at least 15 working days prior to the date of departure (that can be further extended in case of necessity) at any of our three Visa Application Centers in New Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore. VFS offers the option of courier service for return of passport, directly at your doorstep.
For Prospective Applicants
The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. The checklist of requisite documents needs to be submitted with the application. No applications would be accepted by VFS if any of the required documents is missing. If not explicitly requested by the High Commission, documents sent separately to the High Commission will not be taken into consideration. You may be required to appear before a Visa Officer at the High Commission of Malta prior to a decision being taken on your application. A time slot would be communicated to you through VFS. Admission to the Visa Section of the High Commission of Malta will only be granted at the time of the scheduled appointment. Applicants would need to inform VFS should they want to postpone the appointment. In case of no show and a justification is not received prior to the scheduled appointment, the visa application would not be considered.
NOTE:
1. As per the Immigration Act, 2004, any applicants traveling to Malta either to render a service or for employment, irrespective of the duration of stay, would need to be in possession of an Employment License. Guidelines are available at:
